No one wants to make their Mama cry
#010 Tasmanian Rhapsody #3

No one wants to make their Mama cry
That Eagle has a strong grip on our little hero. I wonder if the other Devils will mount a rescue mission?
Stay tuned for the next episode on Thursday
A Tasmanian Devil + an Eagle = Tasmanian Rhapsody
Note: I did this over several episodes but left a few verses out of the song so it doesn’t drag on too long
Autumn Leaves everywhere at the moment. I hope this Devil doesn’t get hayfever.
Note 1: After I drew this strip I realised that it reminded me of Mark Stokes’ Leaf Bandit strips at his Zombie Boy Webcomic. I had no intention to plagiarize Mark’s idea.
Note 2: Something special begins on Thursday. Come back then to see what it is
This comic was inspired by the last time I had Fish & Chips by the waterfront. I was inundated by Gulls. One of them even tried to snatch my piece of fish from the box. I stopped him getting the whole piece but he got away with a good sized chunk of it.
I threw together a Bloopers Reel from the cutting room floor.
I’ve cashed in on Social Distancing for this strip. If you don’t understand what the Potato has to do with it see the previous comic strip.
Note: I have rehashed my drawing of the Devils because I decided to stick with a more simpler format. The first 2 strips have been redrawn & replaced. My original idea was to loosely base them on the shape of Tasmania but I didn’t really like the way they looked. No doubt the more strips I draw the more uniform their shape will become (hopefully).
I’ve been drawing for a long time with a regular sketchbook, pencils & fine-liner pens. Last week however I bought myself a present…
It’s an XP-Pen Artist 12 Pro & I love it. It sure makes drawing & colouring my comics a lot easier & faster.
I had a Wacom tablet some years ago but it didn’t have a screen to draw on. I simply couldn’t coordinate drawing on a separate surface from what I was looking at on my laptop screen.
A tablet with a draw on screen makes the process so simple
Devil Facial Tumour Disease is a serious threat to our Tasmanian Devil population. A lot of research & work is being accomplished to try to rid them of this problem.
